About me

Britney Banyas is a clinical social worker and licensed therapist in Columbus, Ohio.

Britney is passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. She emphasizes providing a safe, supportive space to explore challenges and work toward meaningful, client-centered goals. Her approach is holistic, combining mind-body techniques to support emotional and physical well-being. Britney enjoys working with diverse adolescents and adults facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, trauma and PTSD, systemic harm, infertility, traumatic birth experiences, and pregnancy loss. She recognizes how complex and deeply personal these experiences can be, and aims to walk alongside you with compassion and respect.

Britney’s therapeutic work is grounded in evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. I also draw from Somatic and Polyvagal theories, along with parts work (IFS informed), to help clients connect more deeply with themselves and their healing process. These methods support healing at both the emotional and nervous system levels, helping clients feel more regulated, empowered, and connected in their lives.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
